ANXIETY:- Anxiety disorders form a category of mental health diagnosis that lead to excessive nervousness, fear, apprehension and worry.
The American psychological association defines anxiety as “ an emotion characterized by feeling of tension, wrried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure”.
SYMPTOMS:-
1. Restlessness, and a feeling of being “on edge”.
2. Uncontrollable feelings of worry.
3. Increased irritability.
4. Concentration difficulties.
5. Sleep difficulties.

3. Generalized anxiety disorder: This is a chronic disorder involving excessive, long lasting anxiety and worries about non specific life events, objects, and situations.
GAD is the mst commn anxiety disorder.
4. Panic disorder: These are sudden attacks of intense terror and apprehension characterize panic disorder.
These attacks can lead to shaking, confusion, dizziness, nausea, and breathing difficulties.
5.Specific phobia: This is an irrational fear and avoidance of a particular object or situation. Phobias are not like other anxiety disorders,as they relate to a specific cause.

Causes include:
1. Envionmental stress, such as difficulties at work, relationship problems or family issues.
2. Genetics, as people who have family members with an anxiety disorder are more prone to anxiety disorder.
3. Medical factors, prolong recovery , the stress of an invasive surgery, the effects of medications etc.
4. Brain chemistry, as psychologists define many anxiety disorder as misalignment of hormones and electrical signals in brain.
